When will I get my Child Tax Credit refund?

The regular Child Tax Credit (up to $2,000) is processed with your regular refund and follows standard processing timelines. The refundable Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC) portion is subject to the PATH Act hold — refunds claiming ACTC cannot be issued before February 15. Most ACTC refunds are released by late February or early March.
